Tech Lead Java

Lead the development team from a technical perspective; design modules, APIs, and business flows.

Break down tasks, provide technical guidance to Developers, and resolve technical blockers.

Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding conventions, code quality, and technical debt management.

Develop and optimize backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security/OAuth2/JWT.

Design and integrate REST APIs, databases, MQ/Kafka, caching, and related systems.

Optimize SQL, transactions, indexes, and system performance on Oracle/PostgreSQL.

Collaborate with SA, PM, BA, Testers, and DevOps throughout the development, release, and Production Issue resolution processes.

5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a Tech Lead or key Senior role.

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security/OAuth2/JWT.

Hands-on experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL, transactions, indexes, and performance tuning.

Experience with JPA/JDBC/MyBatis, logging, exception handling, batch processing, and system integration.

Understanding of API Gateway, SSO, MQ/Kafka, and caching at the integration level.

Experience in code review, technical design, Git, and CI/CD.

Strong system thinking, with the ability to perform end-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, as well as provide technical leadership to Developers.

Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with PM, SA, BA, Testers, and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems, high-volume data, or systems involving multiple integrations.

• Experience deploying systems in On-Premise/Private Cloud environments, particularly in environments with limited Internet access.

• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Experience in Security, Authentication/Authorization, and Audit Logging.

• Experience working on Government, Ministry, Department, or public-sector projects is a strong advantage.
