Solution Architect (Private Cloud)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Talent Match’s client is a leading technology company specializing in serving Government entities and Ministries in Vietnam’s National Digital Transformation journey.

This is an opportunity for System Architect experts who want to participate in designing the overall architecture for large-scale systems with multiple modules and multiple stakeholders.

You will be responsible for defining the overall solution architecture, bridging business requirements and technical direction, and collaborating with project teams to ensure the system meets requirements for scalability, integration, security, and operations.

OBJECTIVE

• Conduct overall assessment of the client’s current state

• Identify core business problems, actual needs, and long-term objectives of the client

• Design the overall solution architecture for large-scale systems

• Define the architecture for Business, Data, Applications, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations

• Propose a transformation roadmap from the current state to the target architecture

• Ensure the solution is interoperable, scalable, secure, stable, and easy to operate

• Act as the main point of contact to present, explain, defend, and refine the proposed solution with the client, leadership, and stakeholders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the client to understand objectives, current state, challenges, and system development needs

• Survey and assess the client’s current IT ecosystem and perform gap analysis between AS-IS and TO-BE architecture

• Design the overall solution architecture for the system

• Define the architecture for Business, Data, Applications, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations

• Propose a phased implementation roadmap aligned with project objectives

• Evaluate pros, cons, risks, costs, and feasibility of each proposed option

• Collaborate with Tech Leads to guide software technical design

• Coordinate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Network teams to validate deployment approaches

• Coordinate with Security/Information Security teams to ensure security requirements are met

• Present, explain, and defend the solution to the client, leadership, and stakeholders

• Oversee the implementation process to ensure compliance with the agreed architecture

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT, Solution Consulting, System Implementation, or Digital Transformation

• Minimum 3-5 years in the role of Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, System Architect, Technical Consultant, or equivalent

• Proven experience in designing overall solutions for large-scale systems with multiple modules, integrations, and stakeholders

• Experience in current-state assessment, Target Architecture design, and implementation Roadmap development

• Experience working with live Production systemsSolid understanding of Business, Data, Software, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations

• Preferred: Experience on projects for Government sector, Ministries/Agencies, Public Security, Defense, Banking, Telecom, Healthcare, e-Government, or large-scale digital platforms and data systems

• Preferred: Experience with Private Cloud, On-premise, Data Center environments, air-gapped systems, or high Information Security requirements

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Current State Analysis & Enterprise Architecture

• Survey current business processes, workflows, data, applications, infrastructure, and operations

• Analyze existing systems, integration points, dependencies, and gaps between AS-IS and TO-BE

• Assess readiness in terms of technology, data, processes, people, and infrastructure

Solution Architecture Design

• Design target architecture for the system

• Define architecture for Business, Data, Applications, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations

• Propose approaches for reusing, upgrading, replacing, or integrating existing systems

Design architecture to ensure scalability, interoperability, stability, and ease of operation

• Solution Planning

• Plan the system portfolio and sub-systems

• Define data models, integration models, and shared platforms

• Define authorization, authentication, and access control models

• Plan deployment infrastructure, Private Cloud, HA/DR, and operations model

• Develop a phased transformation roadmap

COORDINATION COMPETENCIES

• Strong systems thinking and ability to analyze technical trade-offs

• Ability to clearly present solutions to clients, leadership, and technical teams

• Effective coordination across technical teams during implementation

• Ability to standardize guidelines and provide architectural direction for projects

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Current State Assessment Report and AS-IS/TO-BE analysis documentation

• Overall Solution Architecture documentation and system architecture diagrams

• Business, Data, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations architecture plans

• Phased implementation roadmap

• Risk, Assumption, and Dependency list with mitigation plans

• Solution analysis documentation and presentation materials for client meetings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in providing overall solution consulting for large-scale clients

• Experience in developing proposals, solution documents, or high-level design documents

• Experience in planning digital platforms, information systems, databases, integration platforms, or data centers

• Experience with multi-tier, multi-organization systems with multiple data sources

• Experience designing systems deployed on Private Cloud or On-premiseExperience with API Gateway, ESB, Kafka/MQ, SSO/IDP, IAM, SIEM/SOC, WAF, Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus

• Experience with systems requiring HA/DR, Backup/Restore, Observability, and 24/7 operations

• Experience with systems requiring Level 3 Information Security or higher
